Xavier blinked his eyes as the sunlight began to disturb his deep sleep.

"Are you awake, son?"

Near the curtain that was now wide open, a middle-aged man was there along with his wheelchair.

"Daddy disturbed your sleep, didn't he? If you still want to sleep, let me close them again. I'm sorry."

Xavier immediately straightened his body. He shook his head in disagreement with the middle-aged man's words.

"I'm already awake."

Xavier smiled a little at the corner of his lips.

Xavier immediately got up and approached the man who seemed to be struggling to push his wheelchair closer to his son's bed.

"Daddy can do everything himself. You don't have to go to all this trouble."

"No big deal, Dad. This has become an obligation for me too."

Zavier smiled so sweetly. Feeling so happy because now the child was much different from the person Zavier knew back then.

"Let me help."

Zavier was even more pleased that his son cared so much about him now.

"Thank you, son."
