Chapter eighty one

One day, as Sylvester was coming home from work, he saw something that made his heart skip a beat.

There was a man outside his apartment building, leaning against the wall.

Sylvester recognized him immediately.

It was one of his old partners in crime.

Sylvester's first instinct was to turn and run, but he knew that he couldn't.

He had come too far to let his past catch up with him.

He walked up to the man, his heart racing.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Sylvester asked.

The man looked at him with a sly grin.

"I heard you've gone straight, Sylvester. That's not really your style, is it?"

Sylvester felt a surge of anger rise up inside him.

He had worked so hard to leave his old life behind, and he wasn't about to let this man drag him back down.

"You need to leave, now," Sylvester said, his voice shaking with anger.

The man just laughed.

"You're not going to make me leave, Sylvester. You're weak now. You don't have the guts to do what needs to be done."
