Chapter eighty six

Gonzalez was released on bail and was grateful to Sylvester and Natasha for their help. He promised to turn his life around and never get involved in drugs again.

Sylvester and Natasha sat down with him and had a heart-to-heart conversation.

"Gonzalez, we want to help you get back on your feet," Sylvester said. "But we need to know that you're committed to staying clean and staying out of trouble."

Gonzalez nodded. "I am, Sylvester. I never want to go through this again. I want to be a better man for Natasha."

Natasha smiled at him. "I believe in you, Gonzalez. But you need to take responsibility for your actions and work hard to make things right."

Gonzalez nodded again. "I will. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right with you and with the law."

Sylvester and Natasha worked with Gonzalez to help him find a job and enroll in a drug rehabilitation program. They also helped him pay for legal fees and any other expenses he needed.
