Chapter one hundred and nineteen

Gonzalez spent the rest of the day pouring over the evidence against the drug traffickers. He was determined to bring them to justice, not just for the sake of his career, but for Natasha's sake as well. He knew that he had a lot to make up for, and he was willing to do whatever it took to earn her trust back.

As he left the office that evening, he spotted a man sitting in a car across the street. The man was watching him, and Gonzalez had a feeling that he knew who it was. It was the man who had been blackmailing him.

Gonzalez drew his gun and approached the car. The man looked up and saw him, and he tried to drive away, but Gonzalez fired a warning shot into the air.

"Get out of the car," Gonzalez yelled, his voice filled with anger.

The man hesitated for a moment before slowly getting out of the car. He was a small, wiry man with greasy hair and a sneer on his face.

"What do you want, cop?" he said, his voice filled with contempt.
