Chapter one hundred and twenty nine

Gonzalez breathed a sigh of relief as the Black Panther signaled for his men to bring Natasha out of the car.

She stumbled towards Gonzalez, her face bruised and battered, but alive. Gonzalez rushed to her side and embraced her tightly, tears streaming down his face.

"You're safe now," he whispered.

"I'll never let anything happen to you again." The Black Panther watched the scene with interest, a smug look on his face.

"Don't think that this is over, Gonzalez," he said.

"I'll be back, and next time, you won't be so lucky." Gonzalez glared at him, his anger boiling over.

He wanted nothing more than to punch the Black Panther in the face, but he knew that he had to keep his cool.

"We'll be ready for you," he said.

"And we won't hesitate to take you down."

The Black Panther laughed a cold and sinister sound.

"We'll see about that," he said before disappearing into the night.
