All things are good now

It’s been weeks but the trauma was still fresh from Addison’s mind. The fear was still present inside her heart and she couldn’t help but overthink things.

She was drinking her coffee one early morning in the gazebo inside Simon’s estate.

She still can’t get over the fact that they were able to make it out of Mancini’s mansion.

Thinking about her heart suddenly felt heavy. That huge man who helped her never made it out. He was one of Mancini’s most trusted personnel but he was so kind that he helped her.

If only Addison could turn back the clock, he wouldn’t have left him in that state there.

Regret and guilt consumed her.

“Hey…” Federico came with a cup of hot coffee in his hand. “You wouldn’t mind if I joined you, right?” He looked fresh with his hair combed to the side and had a bright smile plastered on his face.

Addison smiled at him. “No, not at all. Come.” She gestured to the empty seat in front of her.
