Busted

Addison stared at the flash drive in hand as her mind kept on thinking of ways on how to be able to retain the information in it.

The message she received from an unknown sender told her that it’s a self-destruct file, meaning, the file will immediately be deleted after her first attempt to read it. No more rewind or review on the file. She only got one chance to read it, and she must remember all the details.

“Shit, there’s no way I can do that.” She let out a sigh and leaned back on the driver’s seat.

An idea suddenly popped in her mind.

“Why didn’t I think of it? God, you’re slowing down, Addison.” Excitement filled her.

She was still in her car, though she already left the meeting place the moment she slid inside her car.

Pulling her laptop from her bag, she opened it and waited for a minute.
