Two months had passed and Simon was now fully recovered. Good thing the bullets that hit his legs didn’t damage any of his bones. He can now walked without the aid of any crutches. All of his wounds were now healed, though he can still occasional pain it’s bearable.

He fixed the artificial beard that he purchased online using Angela’s name. The doctor had offered Simon that he can stay as long as he wanted.

Angela understood Simon’s situation. He needed someone whom he could lean on. Someone out there wanted him dead, and they thought that he really was but the moment they discover that he’s still alive they would go for his life again.

“You know you can stay here as long as you want, I won’t mind.” She told him one morning when he said that he’s going to find some place to stay. “No one will suspect that you’re here. You know, we can pretend that we're lovers, or you’re my husband.” Angela told him those words like nothing. “You’re much safer here.”
