The Commission

After seven days of wake, Emiliano Morelli was brought to his final resting place. The burial ceremony was attended only by those who were close to the Morelli family, mostly from the crime families and their business partners.

The sky poured heavily that day, it was like it mourned the death of a good and at the same time a ruthless man.

The Mancinis stayed until the very end. Cassius tapped Simon’s death when the last shovel of dirt finally covered the coffin.

Simon’s face was void of any emotions as he stared at the dirt. He didn’t show any emotions at all. He has been thinking these past few days. It was so unlikely for his father to take his own life.
