All eyes focused on Federico as they waited for what he had to say. He sat at the farthest part of the table.

Simon stared at Federico above his eyebrows. He was waiting for him to say the wrong words and the man would be done. His hand twitched as anticipation gripped him like an iron shackle.

His father has chosen Federico as the Under Boss when his father became the Boss of the Morelli Crime Family. Simon was not yet born at that time, but his father had assumed the position after his father suddenly died of a brief illness.

Simon didn’t actually care if the man was his father’s most trusted man, for him Federico couldn’t be trusted, his gut says so.
