White Van

Simon arrived at the said place where Janus’ body was dumped. It was located near a park, where people like joggers would easily see him.

He parked his car almost a block away from the scene. He knew he couldn’t get close to the scene since police were already there and a yellow crime scene tape had the place secure for nosy bystanders.

He stepped on the breaks and turned off the engine of his car. He let out a heavy breath and closed his eyes. He’s not yet ready to see his friend’s dead body, but Simon knows he has to do something.

Janus had no family and Simon was sure he’s the only friend he ever had.

He fought the urge to punch the steering wheel. He had to reign his emotions or he’ll cause chaos there.

“Fucking bastards!” He silently cursed as he jumped out of the car. He walked towards the scene with his head dipped low. Good thing he had a spare of baseball caps in his car, it would at least conceal his identity.

His eyes scanned the crowd, looking for suspicious people. H
