Ash’s eyes grew as soon as the other person in the line said that. Her grip on the phone tightened and her chest starts beating irrationally.

“Don’t you fucking dare hurt my brother!”

“Then come get him and bring your husband with you. We can have a little chat. That’s all we’ve ever wanted.”

Ash clenched her fists and took a deep breath. “Let me talk to him first.”

“No. That’s not the deal. Come here and we will give you your brother, hm?”

“You’re dumb, aren’t you? Calling me to bribe me into fetching my brother saying you want to talk? You want to rain bullets over Damien.”

There was laughing in the other line. Ash seethed her teeth. She could tell they were in a big room, and there were many members of Parliament behind the call.

And they’re treating her like a laughingstock.

“We’ll see you here, right?”

“That depends if you’ll let me hear my brother. You have nothing to lose if you give the phone to him, right?”

She could hear him consulting with the other members of the Parliam
