“The court is dismissed!”

Everyone stood up in their seats and left Clarissa’s side. Clarissa felt like she was surrounded by the terrible gazes of betrayal by her supporters who came into the hearing to give her the moral support she needed, but she only disappointed them. She was at loss for words. Even her lawyers were sorry for her.

They hated the fact that Clarissa was not honest even with them.

Had she told them that Ash Harlock had a video of her, they could’ve done something to counter it. But even them were in shock. They thought too that she was the victim, so they helped her. But it seemed that they were only humiliated in today’s hearing.

One by one, they left her side until Clarissa was the only frozen one in the room. Richard Colton runs towards her and tried to comfort her, but she only slapped his hand away not wanting an ounce of his pity.
