Silence engulfed the two. Smoke wafted through the air as Tim lowered his cigarette and looks at Ash.

“You’re staring at me all funny, Harlock. You plannin’ to put a bullet through my head?”

“You didn’t tell me what I wanted, so as much as I want to do that— I could never.”

“Heh.” Tim nodded. “You’ve grown. A lot.”

“I’m going to pretend that you didn’t mention anything that you did today.” The girl replied with a sinister tone and then moved her frigid hues into the distance. “I am not with the Sumerkis.”

“That is what everybody says, Ash.” Tim provoked her back. “Even I say that I am from this shop when all along I have been working with the dirtiest dogs of this country.”
