Chapter 122
Sean ran his hands through his carefully styled hair, sending it in different directions. Pacing up and down, he tried to find a way to calm down but with each passing moment, his heartbeat skyrocketed.

Finally, the doctor came out, his face morose. Sean rushed over to him. “Hey doc, how is she? Any improvements yet?”

The man's stoic expression didn't change. “She's stable for now, I did the best that I could to treat her with the limited equipment available.”

Before he could what Sean knew he was about to say, Sean shook his head. “I'm sorry but I prefer she be treated here, doc.”

The man shrugged. “That's entirely up to you. I do have some medications she's going to need when she comes out of it. The worst is her head and a gash in her upper thigh and feet but since I've treated it, she should be fine.”

Sean bobbed his head slowly, taking in the information. “I'm just glad I got to her in time.”
