Chapter 124

The bags were crushed against her chest, heavier than she thought. Rebecca panted, dropping the bags on the floor so she could catch her breath.

Bent over with a hand on her knee, Rebecca rummaged around in her purse for the key card Sean gave her.

Swiping it against the door, it granted her access and she heaved the bags up lugging them into the apartment.

Shutting the door behind her with her butt, Rebecca squinted in the dark trying to make out objects in the room.
