Jake didn’t waste any time. He quickly withdrew his golden spear from the spider and faced Kranous whose face was in shock for what happened. The dark aura that was lingering in the place slowly disappeared. The skeleton soldiers went back to the ground like they were sucked by something from below. Their screams and roars were heard, until it became so quiet. “Did we really defeat him?” Archris asked Jake before falling on his knees. His magic energy had depleted already to the point that healing magic couldn’t do anything anymore. There were black marks below his eyes, and his lips were already chapped. Jake rushed to help his former student. He quickly cast a healing spell.
