Jake struggled as he was trying to free himself from the smoke tentacle wrapped around his neck. He tried his best to control his breathing so as not to pass out and die. He couldn’t believe that he would get caught easily.

“Just stop struggling. The more you struggle, the tighter that tentacle will get,” Amore said with a huge grin on her face. She continued to move her hands to control the tentacles to penetrate the mystic barrier completely.

The seven tentacles kept on jabbing the barrier with their sharp, pointed ends. And Jake couldn’t do anything but maintain the mystic barrier, or else he would be pounded until he was nothing but pulp.
