Chapter 24: Shameless Oliver

Unable to find peaceful rest, Rex awoke at 5:55 am, sitting on his bed, he couldn't help but ponder about his pre-departure tasks. "I need to transfer funds for Isabella's safekeeping. Who knows, I might not make it through this mission," he chuckled softly, trying to hide his anxiety. "Secondly, should I send Jeffrey ahead to manage the organization? No, I can't fully trust him yet. Perhaps hiring a detective to unearth and document corrupt individuals within my company, for now, is a better idea. If I make it back alive then it will be easier to swiftly wipe them out."

Aware that time was swiftly ticking before his mission commenced, Rex with newfound resolution, reached for his phone on the bedside table and dialled a number, detailing the mission he had in mind to the recipient.

Following a brief conversation, he ended the call with a soft sigh, rose from the bed, and began his workout routine right inside his room. Thankfully it was spacious enough to do some pushups, squatting a
