While the others saw it as a setback, Damon viewed it as a potential step forward. The description given by the man who had witnessed the accident intrigued him. He couldn’t quite explain it, but he had a gut feeling that the other individual present at the scene might hold crucial information. Perhaps that person had witnessed the actual events leading to the tragedy.
