"That night?" The words came back out in form of a stutter and his grandfather smiled slightly.
"Of course, you got into a misunderstanding with someone.
"For what I needed to tell you, you will need to get a suitor soon enough."
Immediately he spat out the words from his mouth, he coughed almost immediately.
His heart was racing fast. He did not ever think that he would want a relationship with anyone.
"Do you intend to live with me or get a house for yourself?" He inquired, snapping him off from his thoughts and switching off the topic swiftly.
He thought about it for a while. He would have loved to live with his grandfather but he seemed to be a busy man and would not want to disturb him that much.
It was going to be a really difficult thing for him to do. His head ran through different thoughts and he finally stopped on a decision.
"I think that I should get a place grandfather." He added.
"Just as I thought." His grandfather stared at him for a while and returned his hands to his pocket.
He seemed to be searching for something really important and after a while, he paused.
"Found it already." He noted, handling it over to him.
He stared at it for a while, flipping it back and forth and not knowing what it was.
It was black and made of some rare gems. But he could not tell its exact use glittering even though it was hard for the sun to find it's way into the room.
"That's tied to the business of the company. Use it to get the house. And you should go to the best estate company in the city. They have a lot of estates and I am sure that you are going to love it." He forced through a smile.
Ethan walked over to him and hugged him tight. Staring at his father at the other hand of the bed, he held his hands.
"He will be fine soon." He muttered with a slight sigh.
He was about to walk away when he noticed someone walking into the place with her heels digging into the earth as her feet swayed away gracefully.
Who else could it be apart from Victoria?
Immediately their eyes crossed paths, she bowed slightly before him almost immediately with so much reverence.
"Good day young master." He greeted me and his smile broadened.
"How are you doing Victoria?"
"I'm fine sir."
She walked over to his grandfather and bowed slightly before her for a while.
"So have you gotten the information that I wanted?" He Inquired.
He paused for a while to hear what they were talking about. Whatever it was, something inside of him that it was about him.
"No, I haven't found out anything here."
The words seemed to bring out a strange part of him that he had never seen before as his jaw stuffed into a frown.
From the way that her statement flew into the air, Ethan could tell that he was lying but he didn't get the reason that she would be lying to his grandfather.
Her head was slightly bowed and the only thing that she was staring at was her foot and she would not dare to look up at him.
"Are you going to answer me or just keep staring at me?" His frown deepened, even though he had not asked her any questions yet.
"I am going to do my best." She noted with her delicate voice.
"You better do it." He scoffed, pulling his gaze away from her.
He waved his hands for her to leave almost immediately and she turned around without spitting a single word out from her mouth.
Her pulled away as the fear of her aging master was way over the respect that she had for him.
Her feet made a clicking sound as she walked away from the hospital room as soon as she could.
Ethan followed her closely from behind and he noticed that Mr. Blakes was no longer at the spot where he had left him
"Where could he have gone to?" He thought he was head.
When he finally got outside, Victoria was standing beside a Rolls-Royce waiting for him.
He walked towards her and stopped, staring right into her eyes until he was finally forced to look away from him.
"What about Mr. Blakes." He inquired when he stared around for a while but still couldn't find him anywhere.
"Your grandfather already sent him a message to leave. I am going to take you anywhere that you want?"
His eyes were widened. From her look, she did even seem like someone who could drive.
"You are trying him?" He could not get over the fact that a Lady was going to be driving him when he still had hands.
"That is certainly not happening." He replied.
She tried to keep a netural face as her job was
"Young master Ethan, I am sorry but I can't let you do that, your father is going to be angry with me." She pleaded with him.
But this was something that she certainly could not accept from her this time.
"Then I will have to go and make my stance before he knows." He muttered, his feet moving around back towards the direction of the hospital.
But Victoria stopped him.
"Sir don't do that, you are going to get me into more trouble." His clear blue eyes were those of a baby and he just couldn't object this time.
"Okay. But just this once." He finally nodded.
They finally got into the car and they drove away as soon as they could.
"Thanks for taking care of my father." He appreciated her.
His eyes were fixed on the starry and she noticed how skillful and graceful she was with it.
"It was more than an honor, sir." She returned.
"Why did you have to lie to my grandfather?" He finally chimed in.
She pushed for a while, her eyes farrowed. She never expected to be caught in the act so fast.
Ethan had to be fast and skillful
"Could it be that he had some hidden identity?" She was lost deep in thoughts because no ordinary man who had not acquired a wealth of knowledge would be able to Know anything about that.
"Hmmm." She stuttered.
"He wanted to know more about your past."
"And you find out?" He inquired.
"Yeah, a part of it. I did but it didn't seem like something that you'd wanted him to know about."
He breath of relief escaped from his mouth as he placed his hand on his chest and appreciated her for taking the risk to save his face.
But he knew that would not be for long. He was going to tell him as the time went by but not now. He was already going through a lot and to know that his grandson had such a harsh past could lead to unpredictable actions.
Soon, they got to a point and he told her to stop.
"You will have to stop here. I want to go on foot all over there." He said pointing to the company just before him.
She nodded her head since there was absolutely nothing that she could do about it and they came down from the car.
They stood beside the car for a while as Ethan was searching for the card in his pockets
But after a while, something that he never expected occurred at that point.
It was beautiful and she was with her boyfriend, holding hands.
Memories of the past flooded into his head and he gnashed his teeth tightly trying as hard as he could to control his rising anger.
He could hear Marcel's voice rising to his hearing and the only thing that he wanted now was to slap him in his face.
His eyes zoomed past Beauty and he pushed his eyes away from her.
Victoria recognized the struggle since she already knew about his past.
His Ex
Beauty's eyes flicked to his side and saw the lady that he was standing closer to.
"Who could this beauty be?" She thought in her head, still staring hard at her.

What is wrong? Do you want to yank your hand off? Why did you collect your document like that? Did I say something wrong?"Yes, grandfather, you do not even trust me enough; I did all of this myself and now you want to show Ethan for approval.“I wasn't going to show him for approval; I just wanted him to know what you were working on; surely he would be so excited too. “Why do you always do this, grandpa? Do you need validation from Ethan before approving my project? You all complain that I don't do a
