They had to wait for everyone to get back before eating.

While they were sitting in the parlor, her mom asked her why she had come back home.

"Mommy, to see my family, although that's not the reason, although I have something else to discuss.".

"I knew there was something more than just playing a surprise visit, so what could that be"?.

"Mommy, I'd want dad to be around before saying it".

Her dad came immediately, and she ended her statement.

"Daddy".

She ran to him and gave him a big hug.

He was so shocked to see Vivian.

"You didn't tell anyone that you were coming home, nor did she tell you, dear," he returned to ask her mom.

"No, she didn't"," she said, saying she wanted it to be a surprise".

"Oh, I see", "Vivian, I slightly heard you tell your mom that you have something to tell her but you want me to be around", "So what could that be"?.

"Daddy, I promise to tell you after dinner".

It was late, and Darwin wasn't yet back home.
