"What is it?" the voices of the people behind them could be heard loudly talking to each other. "So the necklace wasn't stolen by that man?" they didn't expect the uproar to end up being such a surprise.

After the furor that ensued because of the accusations he made against Richard, it turned out that the necklace was not on Richard. Even after Richard repeatedly emphasized that he had not taken anything from Nadine, she did not believe him and would not listen to him in the slightest.

She still insisted that Richard was the thief.

Nadine was surprised when her eyes fell on a necklace with a red pendant handed to her by the woman, and she picked it up. "How can this necklace be on you?!" She exclaimed and looked at the woman in annoyance. "Did you steal it?"

Richard stared at the woman dumbfounded after accusing her of quickly stealing his possessions, and now he switched to blaming someone else for doing it just because it was in that person's hands.
