Chris went quiet seeing the butler’s resolution, and he was made to step aside as the butler turned to the cops to settle the matter. Soon, they got back into the car and Chris was a little bit angry.

“Why are you trying to stop me from helping?” Chris stared at Steve, with a very serious expression.

On the other hand, Steve who was behind the steering wheel, ready to start the car let out a tired sigh and then he began, “I have a duty to protect you, especially now that the master has gone on a trip. The police asked you to sign some documents and yet, you didn't stop to think what kind of documents they were.”

Chris went silent upon hearing that, there was no defensive mechanism he could come up with at that time. He was indeed wrong.
