Later that morning.

“Young Master!!” There was a banging sound on Chris’ door as he rolled on the bed. Slowly, he opened his eyes trying to make sense of why someone was trying to wake him up so early.

He was so tired from last night’s party since he got back home way past midnight.

In his sleepwear, he stood up from the bed groggily and went to open the door only to see Bulter Steve.

“Uncle, what is it? It's not time for school yet, is it?” Chris groaned, in displeasure. He looked back at the clock by his bedside to see that it was just a little past 6 am.

“I am sorry, Young Master but this is urgent.” Steve looked very serious.

“What?” Chris asked, spotting a stash of papers in Steve’s hand.

“A court summon was delivered to the old house. It's concerning a car accident that occurred at midnight. Did you happen to cause any? They are suing you for deliberating causing the accident which caused them injuries.” Steve looked very worried.

“Car accident?” Chris was surprised. He he

However, Melissa rushed forward and pushed Mia. “Why are you asking if he is okay? Don’t you see what he did to Mike?” Melissa screamed. “What are you saying?” Mia spat back. “Mike was the one who came at Chris. You are acting up like a perfect girlfriend when the reason why you are with Mike in the first place is because of his fucking money.”“Woahhh…” The others let out booing noises and they started to point fingers at Melissa, calling her a good digger.“And so what? Mike has the money this bastard here doesn't have.” Melissa screamed, her face turning red. “Oh, is that why he bought the cheap jewelry he

The secluded area became eerily silent as Melissa could neither speak nor move."Aren't you going to break up with me?" Mike finally broke the silence. He was surprisingly calm, even with how he was angry and this made Melissa courageous enough to look at him."What do you think, Mike?" She asked back, finally looking at him. "You heard everything. I don't think you should be in denial.""Are you admitting that you indeed were Chris' girlfriend? Back at the court, where I proposed to you, you denied him." He chuckled, mockingly and then continued. "Now, you are denying me? Before that thing?""I thought Chris was coveting what was mine, but then, it's just that you were something he used to have. Chris and Mia had walked far away and they didn't even go back to class, because the day had practically been ruined for them. As they walked, a lot of students pointed at him and some even came to him to apologize about bashing him on the school forum. By the time they both reached Chris’ car, they were exhausted. “Get in.” He opened his car door and Mia sent a questionable look at him before she got in. He got in the driver’s seat as well. However, he didn't drive away, he had to take a few moments to breathe. “You have a really nice car.” Mia looked all around with a smile. She didn't have a good car like his and even though she was a rich heir, her family had been going through some internal crisis. “Thanks…” He nodded at her and the car turned awkwardly silent while she suddenly looked down at her hands, with an itchy feeling to bombard him with questions. On the other hand, Chris had observed her nervous reaction and he knew she really wanted to say something. “You can say

Knock!Knock!!Two organized knocks resounded on the door and Chade immediately went to check on who it was. For a moment, he hesitated going back to the Chairman with what he had just received because the Chairman would surely rage in anger. But this would solidly solidify that Jones was planning something. He took the box from the messenger and went back to the Chairman. This time, he didn't bow because he had somehow crossed that boundary and there was no need to go back. “Chairman, there is a package from the Westminster family. It’s says it’s a present to you…” Chase read out the card attached to the package. When he looked up at the Chairman, he realized Gerald’s whole demeanor had changed. One thing Gerald hated was receiving gift packages from guests. The reason behind that was unknown to Chase or anyone in the family. “That Jones is definitely brazen…” Gerald sneered, trying to tone down his anger and hatred. He looked straight at the package with no ounce of emotion.

If he knew, he wouldn't have…His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a knock on the door. “Chairman…” Chase walked in from the door, with his head bowed as he couldn't dare to stand straight up before the Chairman after what had happened. It was a disgrace. “Are you sure he is the Westminster’s son?” Gerald asked, tapping his fingers on the armrest of the chair he was on. “I am still making investigations, Chairman,” Chase said, his lips quiv
