While this was happening, Aiden was in his own hell. While he had managed to keep the lava away while holding the cliff he standing on together, this was not a permanent solution, and the situation was worsening with every passing moment.

The lava flow grew and the amount of water he could draw was not enough to cool the lava enough to make them solidify completely before a fresh stream flowed over them.

This was in addition to the fumes that he was creating from the water cooling the lava.
