EIGHTY EIGHT – HORRENDOUS DISCOVERIES

Nina’s phone beeped with an incoming text but she ignored it. It was probably Hailey texting to see if she was okay. She’d text her later.

The phone beeped two more times and she pointedly switched it off. She needed space to think and therefore did not need any sort of interference.

She did not know how long she stood there until she heard a sound behind her and turned to find John standing just within the French doors.
