ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN – HEARTBREAK AND DISRESPECTED
Luke hurriedly jumped into his car and zoomed off, still simmering with rage at Fiona’s audacity. Turns out, his grandfather was right. Fiona and her mother will definitely try to use this pregnancy and the wedding to lord over him and his family.

Not on their lives. So long as he was alive, Luke vowed to put Fiona and her evil mother in their place if they ever tried to act out of turn.

His phone beeped with an incoming text and he quickly glanced at it. It was from John. They’d just arrived at the bar where Nina was currently hanging out. He’d also made sure to secure the area.

Twenty minutes later, Luke drove into the parking lot of Miss Roody Eats. The place was deserted. Only a few, rusty cars sat in the parking lot.

The moment he stepped out of his car, John jogged over to him.

“Your lordship, Miss Washington looks very upset.”

Luke’s heart clenched painfully when he heard those words.

“Have you spoken to her? Did she see you?”
