Mr Winchester sat in the living room staring at the ceilings like he was trying to read an inscription, lost in his own thoughts that he did not even realize his emissary’s present.

Mr Charles touched his shoulder and he jerked “sir! I have been saying your name for more than two minutes now. I was starting to fear you have become…” Mr Charles started to say before he stopped.

“Paralyzed again?” Mr Winchester completed the sentence as his emissary lacked the courage to say the word to his face.

“You are still awake at this late hours, what seems to be the issue sir, you look sickly worried,” Mr Charles asked with a concerned face.

He did not say a word instead he sighed heavily and ran his hands across his smooth beardless chin down to his jaw. He wasn’t ready to share his worries.

“It’s nothing, am just not feeling sleepy yet,” even a child could tell he was lying to speak less of a man who had known him for more than twenty years.
