It’s been a week since the surgery and Mr Winchester was still yet to regain consciousness. Michael insisted he should be the first person his father should see when he finally comes around, so he never for once left the hospital.

How ironic life could be, with all the wealth that Mr Winchester had garnered he was going to live the remainder of his entire life like a puppet on strings. The thought of this gave his son sleepless nights but he rather prefer he was still alive. He hoped the doctors were wrong about the disorder.

Finally, he was awake. Michael could see his father roaming his eyes up and down, groaning in the process; an indication he was trying to speak but no words came out.

What if he was paralyzed, Michael cared less at the moment, and all that mattered was that his father was back to life. “Dad! You are awake.” Michael said in excitement.
