Unexpected Loss

"Jolie!"

"Jolie?"

"Michael, drive faster! Something's happening!"

Mr. Winchester ordered, his heart pounding in fear as he continued to shake the woman in his arms, who remained silent and unresponsive.

"Jolie! Oh my God!"

"Dad, what's happening to her? Is she okay? Is she still breathing?" Michael asked frantically, pressing his foot down on the gas.

Mr. Winchester didn't know how to respond to his son's questions. He knew deep down there was a 99.9 percent chance the woman in his arms was already dead, and he had no way of knowing if the health facility would be able to revive her or if it was impossible at this point. But he couldn't let his son know that at the moment.

"Keep driving, Michael. She must have just passed out from the pain of the bullet still stuck in her.
