Chapter 16

Jason was excited about getting up the next morning. Even though he was nervous about how people would react to the new person he had become, he was happy about going to school again.

As he had his shower, a maid came in with his new set of outfits for school and laid them neatly on the bed.

He soon got out and was helped to get dressed. He was given a nice haircut, so when he looked into the mirror, he liked what he saw.

He was adjusting his tie when his doorbell rang.

"Come in, Alex," he said, still looking into the mirror. It was not Alex who came in, but his father. It seemed like ages since he had seen the man.

"Permit me to say that you look different from the last time I saw you, son," Mr. Abbott began.

"It's all thanks to you, Dad," he said as he moved into the open arms of his father, who wrapped him in a warm embrace.

"I see all you are doing with the business, and I must say that I am impressed," Mr. Abbott said.
