Chapter 23

"Your father asked to see you," Alex informed Jason as they took a flight back home from one of their hotels.

He had traveled out of town as they intended to establish a hospitality group in one of their new hotels.

He wanted to handle the project himself because he was not sure that he could trust their competence to handle it.

Alex even thought that it was going to be a good decision for him to handle it.

He was exhausted from the meeting and all he wanted to do was to sleep, but the mere thought of meeting with his father frightened him.

"Does he know about Beverly?" Jason asked Alex.

"You call her by her first name now?" Alex retorted, a bit surprised.

"Well, I met her first as Beverly and not as my professor."

"That does not mean that you would go cordial on her that fast now that you know that she is your professor," Alex said.

Jason was irritated. He was tired of everyone telling him what to do with Beverly.
