Chapter 60

Jason stood up and turned around to see his friend looking down at him with a plastic bag in his hand.

He did not mind that there were tears in his eyes. He could be vulnerable with Caleb.

He stood up and went to where Caleb stood. They looked at each other for a while before Caleb opened up his hand to give him a hug.

Jason hugged him immediately and cried on his shoulders.

"I'm still mad at you, though," Caleb said to him as they disentangled from each other.

"I know," Jason said. Caleb smiled at him.

"I would like to know everything that happened, but first, are you hungry?" He asked Jason. "I bought dinner," he added as he raised the plastic bag in his hands.

They entered the house, and Caleb's baby sister came in through the front door.

She practiced volleyball every day after school, and Caleb always said that she was on her way to the Olympics.

She held Caleb's wheel in their mom, from the backyard, and they all sat down at the dinner table.
