The hunters stumbled into the second floor, their bodies worn from the harrowing battle they had just survived. The passage had been a narrow, winding tunnel, barely wide enough for two people to walk side by side.

As they emerged into the new chamber, they instinctively spread out, taking in their surroundings with wary eyes.
