It was a pretty ethereal view in a land that doesn't resemble earth at all.

This surface was filled with sand and tall mountains, there was no sight of green plants nor water in this area and also the sky here wasn't blue or white like earths but was orange instead.

There was a big ball of light similar to the sun on earth but this one was red instead, the amount of heat coming from this ball of light was far hotter than the sun on earth even in the hottest season.

This is the Caveland dungeon!

On one of the tallest mountains, four figures appeared and it was no other people than the members of the squad William joined, including William.

After walking into the portal, their vision blackened and they felt themselves getting pulled to this place without a chance to resist.

William was new to this feeling and thus he felt fear but the fear quickly washed off after he appeared with the others atop the mountain.

"Too hot! What the fuck," Justin cussed out after feeling the extreme

In dungeons, sometimes the hunters have no choice but to eat the meat of the monsters they slayed, which is somehow edible when cooked in the right way. The meat is just like normal ones, the likes of beef and Chevron, nevertheless these ones have mana properties that could either affect them by boosting their mana reserve or taking away the mana in their mana reserve, also, sometimes it doesn't affect them at all. William was sitting on a neat rock boulder eating, he looked around and saw the others discussing among themselves. This time Justin joined in the conversation and he really doesn't sound friendly or weird. "We will take turns to guard the cave throughout the night," Benjamin instructed. "I and Sofia will guard later, both of you will guard the cave for the next four hours," he continued, looking at Justin and William as he spoke. "What? Why did you have to team me up with this loser?" Justin didn't accept the arrangement, he would be happier if he guarded alone than d

"Follow me," Justin ordered in a hateful voice before walking towards the west area. William followed without complaining, to guard a place, one has to scout its surrounding for possible threats, this is a crucial part of guarding. Following Justin, William arrived at the river and saw the water flowing peacefully, the beautiful purple sky and its stars being reflected on the water causing William to stare for one extra second before closing the distance with Justin. Nevertheless, while they strolled around the perimeter of the cave, a group of red eyed monsters observed them from a cave on top of a nearby mountain. The darkness of the night hid the body of these monsters perfectly. "Be honest to me and I won't tell anyone, is this really your first raid?" Justin asked William without looking at him. "Yes, this is my first raid," William gave a simple answer. "Stop lying, if this is your first raid then how were y

"A monster gem on your first try, you sure do have luck," Justin commented. He took the monster gem from William and kept it inside his bag then they continued with their scouting. • Rise Of The Powerful Husband    54. Neardeath (I)

As Benjamin explained in the beginning, there are different classes of hunters and their class plays a big role in their combat power and everything including combat. A defender might be able to fight a monster but they can never be on the same level as a trained attacker, a supporter might be able to use special types of weapons and equipment in a fight but they can never be as strong as attackers. Healers and enchanters are out of the question; their job is simply to help heal and boost the powers of the attackers. If an even more experienced hunter saw Benjamin and Sofia strolling around this dangerous area, they would be very disappointed because two of them would never be able to defend themselves when a monster attacks. However, oblivious of this fact, both of them kept patrolling with very cautious eyes, since it was nighttime, they had to be extra careful and vigilant. But then... ROAR! ROAR! Two loud roars spread across the area, following the powerful roars, the grou

The smirk on the doppelganger's face was chilling, filled with an arrogance and darkness that William recognized but had never embraced himself. This was not just a reflection; it was something far more sinister. "Who are you?" William demanded, his voice steady, though the unease gnawed at him. "Why do you look like me?" The doppelganger tilted its head slightly, the smirk widening. "I am the Dark One," it said, its voice a distorted echo of William's own. "The force behind the apocalypse, the one who brought chaos and ruin to your world." William’s eyes widened in shock, and then narrowed in anger. "You... You’re the one who unleashed the zombies, who turned the world into a living nightmare?" His grip tightened on his sword, the blade beginning to glow faintly with the power of his blood magic. "Why? Why would you do something so monstrous?

Before they could react, the floor cracked open beneath their feet, creating a gaping tunnel that spiraled downward into darkness. Without a moment’s hesitation, William shouted, “Into the tunnel! Move!”The hunters, their instincts honed by the countless battles they had fought, didn’t waste time questioning. They jumped into the tunnel, their bodies sliding down the smooth, obsidian-like surface as the walls blurred past them. The descent was steep, and the sensation of speed was dizzying, but none of them allowed fear to take hold. They knew that whatever awaited them at the end of this tunnel was the final challenge of the tower. The tunnel seemed to stretch on endlessly, the darkness oppressive and suffocating.
