'I have to end this quickly,' William made a strong resolve inwardly.

He took a quick glance across the room, observing it: The once neat and properly decorated dining hall was in shambles, broken glasses layed on the ground, some of the furniture had been tossed aside by the strong wind and blast wave.

The fragrant smell in the room has been replaced with the iron smell of fresh blood. Everything has become chaotic.

Charles has fainted.

Clarissa is only holding on to her consciousness at the moment. Even the lady storm, the strongest among them, looked scared and couldn't even stare into the eyes of her enemies.

'I am the only one standing who can fight, but what would help me?' William was in a panicky state, his mind was moving so fast, making different thoughts that he almost forgot he had the biggest assistance in the world.

"That's right, my system," He muttered to himself and quickly called up the system.

"Huh, you mean your last wish is to use one of your spells on me?" Dolano observed William weirdly."Yes," William nodded."You are a powerhouse who would not be affected by a mere Tier 1 spell, so please let me do this. If I do this, I can die with no regrets," he continued.Dolano looked at William and began laughing coldly.Clarissa was crying profusely. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Was William, her beloved, really going to give up so quickly? Why was all this happening? Today was supposed to be a good day, a day to reunite with her brother and make up for lost time, but now, it seemed today would also be the day she dies. How sad."Fine, hit me with it. I can take even Tier 2 spells without flinching," Dolano boasted.William nodded again. He closed his eyes and began chanting. He could hear Clarissa's sniffing as she cried her heart out. It pained him that she had to endure so much suffering, especially for something that wasn't real.Dolano found William extremely

"What!" Dolano barked in confusion, staring down at his leg.He saw several blood-red chains sprouting from the ground and attaching to his body, holding him back so he couldn't move.He immediately realized it was blood magic; William had used the blood on the ground to form strong chains to hold him down."Everyone, go to the teleportation matrix Porter talked about," William turned his head to Clarissa and Lady Storm and said. Both of them tilted their heads in his direction, staring at him with confusion and worry. They were still shocked by the fact that William could use one of the rarest magics in the world.Just the mere mention of his blood magic would increase his popularity and make him known around the world. It could even give him powerful cultivators as friends, which means he would be among the top elites.Lady Storm thought about the popularity William's blood magic would bring the Storm family, while Clarissa worried about her husband."You are coming with us, right?"

Now we will take something you love the most," one of the brothers told Carson with an evil grin on his face.Carson stared at them with a confused gaze. Clarrisa and Lady Storm could be seen making their way down a narrow passageway, with Clarrisa supporting the unconscious body of Charles, making her unable to run as fast as Lady Storm, who ran in front of her.“Move faster, Clarrisa!” Lady Storm urged in a panicky tone.Clarrisa didn’t react, her heart was already bleeding at the thought of leaving her husband in a spot where his death was inevitable. She wanted to stay with William, to die with him if it came to that. But she was aware that if she stayed, she would only become a distraction for him.‘Please survive for me, William,’ she prayed inwardly. "Even if you keep screaming for the next ten hours, no one would come to your rescue," the dark masked figure grinned at Clarissa. He drew a short dagger from his pocket and floated towards them."Since neither of you decided to die, thereby breaking my rule, as punishment, just as I mentioned, both of you will meet your end," he grinned while speaking.Lady Storm looked at Clarissa. She didn’t understand her situation or why her daughter, whom she had wronged all her life, wouldn’t let her die. Does that mean Clarissa has forgotten all the evil she has done and forgiven her? She thought.Tears began to flow from her eyes at that thought. She realized how irresponsible she had become to her own grandchild because she wanted to make the Storm family richer and stronger. Now that she has realized her wrongs, unfortunately, death wouldn't allow her to make them right. How unfortunate. She looked at the figure of the man approaching her. Clarissa gently dropped the body of Charles to the ground and rose to observe her surroundings, aiming to determine their location and find a way to get help or a safer place to hide if this place was in danger. She looked around her. They appeared to be inside a very large room, bigger than a dining hall, with only a few objects, making it spacious."Where is this?" she asked herself.Far away on her left-hand side, there was a large computer with a big screen and a sizable machine underneath it that she hadn't seen before. Her intuition told her that the big machine was what powered the computer.Clarissa took her eyes off the computer, tilting her head around the room, looking for a door so they could leave. However, this room had four doors: one on the south side of the room, one on the north, and one on the east and west sides each. She didn't understand why a room would have four doors but guessed it was for a good reason. What she did not know was that in another room, a young

"The Bloodcrest Brotherhood has hidden themselves perfectly for the last ten years. Not even a single trace of them has been found in a decade, and we almost thought they had disbanded and gone extinct. We were wrong all along," Mark Grayson mumbled to himself, somewhat confused."Yes, Commander. However, if you give me permission to take some hunters with me, we might be able to subdue the Bloodcrest Brotherhood. Perhaps, with our help, Carson would be obliged to heed our invitation," Johnson suggested.Mark Grayson contemplated this issue. The central hunter organization present in the central city had issued their region a mission to capture Carson, who had returned from a dungeon after being presumed dead for a long time.As the leader of this regional headquarters, the mission naturally stayed in his hands. If they managed to complete it, most of the merit would go to him even if he didn't contribute. With this merit, his family would continue to grow and remain under the protect

"The force behind the apocalypse, the one who brought chaos and ruin to your world." William’s eyes widened in shock, and then narrowed in anger. "You... You’re the one who unleashed the zombies, who turned the world into a living nightmare?" His grip tightened on his sword, the blade beginning to glow faintly with the power of his blood magic. "Why?
