89. Mystery [ II ]

Clarissa gently dropped the body of Charles to the ground and rose to observe her surroundings, aiming to determine their location and find a way to get help or a safer place to hide if this place was in danger.

She looked around her. They appeared to be inside a very large room, bigger than a dining hall, with only a few objects, making it spacious.

"Where is this?" she asked herself.

Far away on her left-hand side, there was a large computer with a big screen and a sizable machine underneath it that she hadn't seen before. Her intuition told her that the big machine was what powered the computer.

Clarissa took her eyes off the computer, tilting her head around the room, looking for a door so they could leave.

However, this room had four doors: one on the south side of the room, one on the north, and one on the east and west sides each. She didn't understand why a room would have four doors but guessed it was for a good reason.
