A Strong Threat

Darwin paced about in his office, agitated.

“Dad, today is Sunday…couldn’t this have waited until Monday at least?” Luther asked his father as he watched him pace about.

Darwin had called his son urgently and urged him to come to the office as something had come up. They rarely ever met up in Darwin’s house, because even while growing up, especially without their mother, Darwin often shipped them off to their grandmother’s. Luther never like at it their grandmother’s either, only Laxus did, so when he was grown enough to make his own decisions, he simply went from one rented apartment or a friend’s crib to another. However, calling him out of the blue to come to the office on a Sunday did not sit well with Luther. He was supposed to be at one his games, at least to clear his head from what they had all watched on TV about Laxus. Nothing pissed Luther off more than seeing Abby flaunt herself to Laxus on national television!
