Chapter 12: The Sack Letter

"Sadly, you can't have an abortion because it would damage your womb and you wouldn't be able to give birth in the nearest future,"

What! A soft gasp escaped Georgia's lips as the doctor dropped the bombshell. She shifted on her chair uncomfortably as she turned her gaze to the doctor who had a serious look on his face.

She was in a daze for a moment. She was taken aback by shock.

What is she hearing? How could that be possible?

"Are you for real, doctor?" She managed to ask after she recovered from the shock which overwhelmed her.

"Yes, Mrs. Georgia. I've been your family doctor for the past ten years so I won't lie to you," she stared at him for a while hoping to find his words funny but she couldn't find it.

He looked serious, and she could also sense the sincerity in his voice and eyes.

"Check the results yourself if you're doubting me," he said and stretched a printed paper at her.

She quickly grabbed the paper from him. She opened the front page and her breath ceased when
