Chapter 148: He's Back, The Only One

“What are you talking about, young Master?” Micheal asked and Smith shrugged.

“Continue with your work and send my regards to your colleague,” Smith said and hung up on the call before Micheal could say anything.

He took a deep breath and flagged for a cab. He sat down inside the passenger seat and rubbed his hands under his chin.

“Here we are,” the driver said and parked in front of his apartment.

He came down from the cab and stretched some bundle of cash to the driver, who was happy. “Thank you, Sir,” he said and drove off.

He walked into his apartment and locked the door. He slumped hard on the couch and breathed out heavily. He pulled off his clothes and dropped them on the floor after relaxing for a while.

He entered the bathroom and turned on the shower. He took a deep breath and shoved himself inside the bathtub which was filled with cold water.
