Chapter 68: The Threat

“You see that, huh? He's far better than you. He's a billionaire,” she said and pointed at Micheal who was sitting at the edge without paying attention to them. It was part of the plan so she would lose her guard.

“He's capable of being called a man but not some poor wimp like you,” she said and he took a deep breath.

She was mocking him. And each word muttered, makes him angrier than before. He wouldn't hesitate to make her regret it if she persisted.

“Does that mean a poor man isn't capable of being called a man?” He asked and she nodded her head.

“Yes, it is. You aren't a man. You need to work better.

“As for the cleaner job, I would talk to Edward tonight to employ you. I think I still have your number,” she said, rolled her eyes at him, and walked away with a cold look on her face.

He glared at her departing figure until he couldn't see her anymore. He clenched his fist and bit on his lower lips.
