Chapter 73: The Guilt

The next day, Georgia woke up feeling weak and numb. She opened her eyes weakly, unaware of what had happened. A soft gasp left her lips and her eyes widened in shock as my gaze landed on her naked body under a duvet with Smith beside her.

He looked handsome while sleeping.

Her body shook slightly as she realized what had happened.

Somehow, she felt bad and regretted her actions. She wished she could turn the hand of time but it was too late to cry over spilled milk. Although she enjoyed the sex she had with him, her conscience couldn't stop disturbing her.

She pulled the duvet from her body gently, not wanting to wake Micheal from his sleep. She walked quietly toward her clothes that were lying on the floor.

She shook her head with a sigh and wore the clothes then arranged her hair quickly.

Just as she was about to leave, she heard his calm yet dangerous voice from behind.

“Why are you leaving so soon, Miss Georgia?” He asked.
