Chapter 399: Cordelia Awake

Seeing her dad walk inside, Rose turned around and walked towards Cordelia's door. "Is she even asleep?" she muttered. She was about to knock when she stopped.

"No, if she's asleep I might unnecessarily disturb her," she said, discarding the idea of knocking. She turned around and walked away.

Cordelia started breathing harshly, confusion clouding her mind. She looked down at herself, realizing she was draped in a towel. "Huh?" she muttered, shocked. Forcing herself to sit up, she clutched the towel tightly around her. "A towel?"

She tried hard to remember what had happened. She recalled going to take a bath and then walking towards the door, but beyond that, her memory was blank. "What happened?" she whispered to herself, panic starting to rise. "Why can't I remember anything else?”
