" What are you saying, Angela? I should be your boyfriend or what did I just hear you saying?" Ethan asked, looking shocked.

Angela said," Yes, my boyfriend. But it's not a real boyfriend, Ethan"

Gazing at her, Ethan asked, "Not a real boyfriend? Then what kind of boyfriend?"

Angela replied," It's just a fake one now. My father asked me to participate in a party and there's going to be a very annoying man at the party ".

Ethan asked, "So? What's going to happen?"

Angela replied," You just have to be my shield, not a real boyfriend. You just have to act like my real boyfriend. Everyone will think that we are Lovers but the reality is that we are not. So you now understand what I'm saying? ".

The man breathed heavily and said," I think I'm here for the party and not to argue".

Angela stopped suddenly.

Angela nodded and said," The voice is familiar ".

Suddenly, a girl walked to them. She's Angela's friend, Emily.

" I told you that I heard someone calling me. She's my friend, Emily" Angela told Ethan, smiling.

" Nice meeting you," Ethan said as he greeted Emily, requesting a handshake. They shook hands and Emily greeted her friend by hugging her.

" Emily, this is my boyfriend," Angela declared.

Emily looked surprised. She frowned and said," I think Raymond has decided to ask you to be his girlfriend today. Then, why are you with this person you are claiming to be your boyfriend?

Angela breathed heavily.

" But what's going to happen to Ethan if what Emily said is true? If it's true, Ethan would be in serious trouble. And I was the one that invited him here. Angela said in her thoughts.

" I'm so sorry, Ethan. Can you please just leave? I don't want you to get hurt" she said facing Ethan

Ethan smiled. Then he said," What's going on? Why should I leave? Is it because she mentioned someone named Raymond?"

Angela put her hands on Ethan's shoulder.

" It's because you don't know Raymond. Just leave, Ethan for God's sake. I know that I brought you here and it would be somehow embarrassing to tell you to leave. But that's the best thing for you, I don't want to get you in trouble, Ethan." Angela said.

Ethan smiled. He removed Angela's hand from her shoulder and said," I like sticking to what I have agreed upon. I'm not going anywhere"
