" What are you saying, Angela? I should be your boyfriend or what did I just hear you saying?" Ethan asked, looking shocked.

Angela said," Yes, my boyfriend. But it's not a real boyfriend, Ethan"

Gazing at her, Ethan asked, "Not a real boyfriend? Then what kind of boyfriend?"

Angela replied," It's just a fake one now. My father asked me to participate in a party and there's going to be a very annoying man at the party ".

Ethan asked, "So? What's going to happen?"

Angela replied," You just have to be my shield, not a real boyfriend. You just have to act like my real boyfriend. Everyone will think that we are Lovers but the reality is that we are not. So you now understand what I'm saying? ".

After hearing this, Ethan was relieved. He cleared his throat and said," Yes, I understand. If that's what you are saying, there's no problem with that. I'm going to do it, so far it's not a real boyfriend ".

Angela looked at him with a worried face.

Upon hearing this, Angela replied, "Sorry, Ethan. I'm sorry".

Boom!! They arrived at the venue. Getting out, Angela held Ethan's hand and Ethan started to act strange.

" What's wrong? Why are you doing this?" Angela asked, holding his hand tightly.

" It's nothing. It's just that I'm a bit nervous" Ethan replied.

" Why are you nervous? " She asked.

" Hmm.. it's nothing" Ethan replied with a smile on his face.

Angela moved to him and whispered in his ear saying," You should start acting like my boyfriend now. We are already at the party. So, stop feeling nervous and don't act strange".

They both entered the party. Thousands of people have been already waiting for Angela to arrive. As they entered the venue, with Angela holding Ethan's hand, people began to whisper to each other.

They noticed the way Angel held her lover's hand tight.

" That must be her lover. See the way she held his hands tightly. They must be very happy with each other," a woman said, pointing at Ethan.

" Let's snap this. This is wonderful, " Another man said, bringing out his phone.

He snapped them and put his phone back in his pocket.

"See how intimate they are. They must love each other to the core. I wish my first lover was like this. But she changed her behavior and I divorced her" another man said.

Another lady said," I wish that guy was my lover. He's very cute, handsome and gentle ".

A woman beside her tapped the lady at the back and said," You are missing something ".

The lady replied," What's it?"

The woman said slowly," Sexy "

The two of them laughed.

Angela was happy to see people laugh. She held Ethan's hand more tightly. Then, she raised his right hand with her left hand and kissed it.

" Did you see that right now? " A woman said, facing her husband.

" Only if you could be this lovely, we won't be fighting at all," she added.

The man breathed heavily and said," I think I'm here for the party and not to argue".

Angela stopped suddenly.

" What's wrong?? Why did you stop waking?" Ethan asked her.

" I think I just heard my name. Someone called me now," She said.

Ethan gazed at her with a smile. Then, he said, " How will you know the person that called you here? These people are over a thousand in number"

Angela nodded and said," The voice is familiar ".

Suddenly, a girl walked to them. She's Angela's friend, Emily.

" I told you that I heard someone calling me. She's my friend, Emily" Angela told Ethan, smiling.

" Nice meeting you," Ethan said as he greeted Emily, requesting a handshake. They shook hands and Emily greeted her friend by hugging her.

" Emily, this is my boyfriend," Angela declared.

Emily looked surprised. She frowned and said," I think Raymond has decided to ask you to be his girlfriend today. Then, why are you with this person you are claiming to be your boyfriend?

Angela breathed heavily.

" But what's going to happen to Ethan if what Emily said is true? If it's true, Ethan would be in serious trouble. And I was the one that invited him here. Angela said in her thoughts.

" I'm so sorry, Ethan. Can you please just leave? I don't want you to get hurt" she said facing Ethan

Ethan smiled. Then he said," What's going on? Why should I leave? Is it because she mentioned someone named Raymond?"

Angela put her hands on Ethan's shoulder.

" It's because you don't know Raymond. Just leave, Ethan for God's sake. I know that I brought you here and it would be somehow embarrassing to tell you to leave. But that's the best thing for you, I don't want to get you in trouble, Ethan." Angela said.

Ethan smiled. He removed Angela's hand from her shoulder and said," I like sticking to what I have agreed upon. I'm not going anywhere"

Speaking loudly, someone said, his voice terrifying," Hi Angela, would you like to introduce who this handsome guy is?
