Chapter 112Due to the large amount of work Liam had to manage, having time for himself seemed impossible. He barely ate his meals, he was heavy on snacks and caffeine consumption. Also, for days, he had been unable to rest his head to get enough sleep. He heads out for work before six am and when he returns, it is almost midnight and so he hasn't been seeing Naya though they kept in touch, sending and replying to messages. After speaking with Xavier earlier, he had returned to his office and the only thing on his mind at that moment was how he would be able to track the cars. Chapter 114Just when he was about to take a bend into the road that would lead him to the highway, a car rammed into him from behind. Craning his neck to find out who the drunken driver was, he was hit from the side and before he could recover from this, another car came face to face, bashing his car completely. “Shit! What am I going to do now?” He muttered. These cars, knowing fully well that he had tracked down their activities earlier, decided to wait for him in the place he least expected. Chapter 115Nelson just arrived at the family mansion. If it was before, Naya would have been yelling his name from the door as she ran towards him but there was nothing of that sort. Pushing his head backwards, he let out a low wince, disappointment racking through him. When she informed him of her marital status, he was downcast but there was nothing he could do, rather to sit back and worry from a distance. If he had told her how he felt, she was going to act overboard and he didn't want that to happen so he kept it to himself. He was granted permission to take a leave the previous day and so he had decided to spend it with his family. Naya had no idea about this, otherwise, she would have been waiting for him in her family mansion. Immediately he stepped into the living room, Sam and Nathan who were chattering stopped at once, staring at him with widened eyes.They were scared of him not only because he belonged to the army but because he commanded more authority than them.

He didn't believe them a bit, their tone, lengthy time before answering questions and their uneasiness was evidence that they were hiding something from him. Chapter 117Naya, already thinking about her dinner date with Liam, was grinning from side to side as she went about picking out clothes from her closet. She had placed more than three of her favorite dresses on her bed but she wanted more. She wanted to look so beautiful to Liam that evening and so she didn't mind going any length to make it happen. After several minutes of trying to come up with the perfect dress for the occasion, she settled for a blue gown that showed her shape. When she was done, she went ahead to apply her makeup, ensuring that she was careful in carrying out this little project like she had termed it without any mistake. Now standing behind the mirror, she began to admire herself, twirling around to ensure she had a good view of her body. “Perfect! I think I should go into modeling, rather than asking others if they are models.” She said with an eye roll. Chapter 118On arrival at the restaurant, Naya got in, leaving Wren in the car. While they were still on the way, she had begged him profusely to join them but he had refused saying he doesn't eat fast food. Now seated against the table she had chosen for them, her gaze was fixed on the entrance and so she was having a clear view of who was walking into the restaurant and those who were leaving. A few minutes later, yet Liam was nowhere to be found. She wasn't worried about this since she felt it was his job that had held him back. To keep herself busy, she began to scroll through her phone in search of something interesting to invest her time into. Smiling at the pictures she had taken with Rose at the hospital on her last visit, she started to make plans on her next visit. With just a few visits, she had found herself endeared to Rose already and didn't mind spending the whole day with her if she had the chance to do so.
