Still smiling at her, Alaric closed the gap that separated them and then pushed his hand forward, gesturing to her to take it.

Slowly, Naya shifted her gaze to Nelson who was already staring at her. He was wondering who he was and what relationship they shared.

“Naya.” Alaric called with a little voice.

“I'm sorry, I can't go with you until I meet with the manager. He had restricted us from leaving and I don't know why.” She shrugged, showing the extent of her frustration.

“I know why.” He chuckled, making the siblings snap their heads upwards at once.

“What are you talking about?” Naya asked with an eye roll. Holding more tightly to Nelson, she pulled herself up and he followed suit, “Don't tell you were the one who asked him to hold us hostage.” She said, eliciting a nod and coy smile from him.

“I can't believe you are this petty.” She huffed, rolling her eyes at him. She was filled with anger and no matter how much she tried, she couldn't contain it.
