135. State of dilemma.

Immediately after the call, Nathan tossed his phone on the table and then plopped on the foot of his bed.

With his head buried in his palm, he began to brainstorm, trying to wrap his head around Alaric's revelation.

“No way. I never told them about pairing Naya with him, how come they knew about it.” He groaned.

Still in this state of dilemma, the door flung open and Sam stepped in. He had been calling his phone but he wasn't picking up so he thought all was not well.

“What is the issue this time around?” Sam asked, resting his back against the wall.

Nathan, pissed and perturbed at the same time, didn't waste time in telling him everything Alaric had said to him.

“How did they find out?” Sam asked, plopping on the couch.

“That which I don't know.” He took a pause before he continued, “The thing that baffles me is, we don't have our conversation on phone and so there is no way Liam would have hacked into my device.” he hissed, digging his hand into his hair.
