139. A Thin Line.

Gripping Liam's arm more tightly, Rose made sure she counted her footsteps as she walked through the aisle.

When they got to the door, Liam inputted the pin and before Rose could even start making a fuss about it, the door slid open and at once Naya and Nelson jumped on her with placards.

“Welcome back Rose.” Naya and Nelson said in unison, waving the cards in front of her.

To this, Rose didn't know how to respond. She was shocked beyond words and could do nothing but to just stare.

“Rose… aren’t you happy?” Nelson asked, pulling her to himself. He was worried about her facial expression.

“Of course I'm but… what is all these about?” She muttered staring at the stairs, waiting for the rich mogul whom Liam had sold her to, to appear.

When it seemed like she was going to wait forever, she grabbed Liam's arm and then pulled him out of the living room.

Trying to calm her raging nerves down, she was pacing from one end to the other, her hands wrapped across her chest.
