Immediately when Naya heard the news, she had to turn on the TV to confirm for herself.

“And he was feigning all along. I can't believe he would do something like this and will try to cover it up.” She groaned, her eyes stinging with tears.

After searching for Liam's contact, she wanted to dial it and apologize on behalf of her family but she was ashamed.

Sam, suspecting she would be up to something, was quick to locate her office and once he was inside, he shut the door to ensure privacy.

“Don't tell me you have no idea about this.” Naya yelled, wielding her fist in front of him.

“Have you lost it? If you have a problem, you should direct it to the right quarters.” He huffed.

“Why are you here then? The last time I checked, we haven't spoken in almost a month.”

“I have been busy.”

“And right now I'm busy, please leave.” She pulled the door open, gesturing for him to leave.
